The media learned about another exception to EU sanctions for Russia

The EU eased sanctions pressure on Russia

Russians will not be banned from conducting real estate transactions in the countries of the European Union. Cyprus opposed the ban.

From the latest edition of the sixth package of sanctions against Russia, the European Union has excluded a ban for Russians on the purchase of real estate in European countries. About this on Monday, May 30, reported Bloomberg agency.

According to the publication, Berlin took such a step due to pressure from the Cypriot authorities, who were categorically against this restriction.

The dispute over the terms of the EU oil embargo has also prompted other member states to seek exceptions to the proposed package.

Recall that in early May, information appeared that Russians who are not citizens of the European Union and do not have permission to reside in EU countries, ban on real estate transactions within the community.

As reported, on the eve of the EU once again failed to agree on a complete embargo on Russian oil, despite the fact that it was planned to remove the ban on oil supplies via pipelines.
