Grand Theft Auto is already a cult series, there is no doubt about it. During over 20 years of its existence, it has gathered a huge crowd of fans. No wonder that if seven years have passed since the premiere of the last part, the players cannot wait for the news, and each rumor and leak arouse great emotions. It is no different in this case when the alleged map of the sixth installment of the GTA series has hit the network.

Not the first time
The already mentioned leaks have been going on for some time. The map in various, mostly unfinished versions has been scrolling on Twitter for about two years. It would not be surprising if, not that it becomes more and more refined, new details appear on it, and this may surprise you. One of the users of the GTAForums portal under the pseudonym Arthur Bell started its analysis. His conclusions are very interesting and it is worth reading them.
Back to Miami Vice?
The disclosed map has several characteristics that may indicate that it is not necessarily a fake. First of all, the accuracy and detail are at a high level, which shows that someone had to work a lot on it. Further, it is worth mentioning that its scale and overall design are very much in line with the predecessor from GTA V. It should also be mentioned that a lot of people indicate that the sixth part of the Rockstar game will take us back to Miami Vice. Interestingly, if you compare the revealed map to the real Miami, many locations overlap or are very similar to each other. Anyway, see and judge for yourself:

Controlled leak?
Similar situations where a certain element of the game is unofficially disclosed occur, sometimes even under the control of the developers themselves. In 2016, the Red Dead Redemption 2 map was released on the web, but it was from an earlier version of the game. How is it in this case? We do not know this yet, there is no official information about GTA VI at all, it only remains to wait for the actions of Rockstar Games.
