The anonymous man became the sole winner in the Eurojackpot on Friday, winning 485,100,285. It is the premiere record in Norway.
Norsk Tipping spoke to the man both Friday and Saturday. The day after he broke off the record win, the lucky winner managed to sum up a bit.
– I’m happy and numb, says the man, who wants to be anonymous.
The man will receive close follow-up of Norsk Tipping in the future. In addition, he will receive free financial and legal guidance.
It is drawing editor Pie-Christine Skagsoset Norseng who has had the conversations with the man.
– I talked to the winner on Friday night and Saturday. The most important thing for us in Norsk Tipping now is to make sure the man gets the follow-up he needs, says Skagsoset Norseng, who obviously thinks it was an extraordinary experience to call a record winner.
– No doubt this was special, says Skagsoset Norseng in a press release.
The previous record in Norsk Tipping was NOK 443.9 million and was from September 2019.
