The man was injured during a robbery of a subway platform in New York, cops say

A man has been hospitalized after being quartered on a subway platform in Queens on Sunday morning, police said.

The 41-year-old was on a southbound F train platform at Kew Gardens/Union Turnpike station at around 6am when the assailant struck him with a sharp object, police said.

The attacker demanded the victim’s property, cops said.

The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital. The attacker fled south on the subway.

It was unclear whether anything was taken from the man, police said.
