As recounted by our colleagues from the Voix du Nord, Paul Roquelle, passionate about aviation and particularly replicas of aircraft from the 14-18 war, died this Saturday shortly after 3 p.m. near the Prouvy aerodrome -Rouvignies. Originally from Quevaucamps, the pilot was in the takeoff phase and his U.L.M. allegedly suffered an engine failure. At the time of this writing, the relevant authorities had yet to confirm this assumption. The object fell vertically, as if planted in the ground. There were no witnesses to the accident. This wasteland, several hundred meters from the first dwellings, was the scene of this drama.

Beloeillois Paul Roquelle, 69, himself designed replicas of 14-18 war planes and is clearly on board one of them, of the type Fokker DR.I replica, that he perished. The unfortunate pilot was not imprisoned until two hours after the accident, when the competent authorities arrived.
