The Madrid taxi launches the ‘Taxi Covid Free’ service
The Professional Taxi Federation (FPTM) and the PideTaxi station have launched the ‘Taxi Covid Free’ in the capital, a service that guarantees users that the taxis they request through the PideTaxi app and the Tele- Taxi and Radiotelephone Taxi, comply with all hygienic-sanitary guarantees.
The ‘Taxi Covid Free’ initiative also represents a decisive step in the integration of the Tele-Taxi and Radiotelephone Taxi platforms, which have decided to unify their way of working to unite the more than 5,000 vehicles connected through the PideTaxi application.
Within the framework of this integration carried out by both entities, this Monday began an advertising campaign on radio and television that, with more than 8,000 spots, aims to transmit that security to the user so that access to the service is gradually recovered .

In addition, after the peak of the pandemic, during which they have made more than 200,000 free transfers to toilets throughout the region, both entities will carry out a study of public perception to have more data on how to adapt the service to de-escalation.
