After Atalanta Bergamo’s victory tonight, Inter knew it couldn’t make a difference against Napoli.
The home team started energetically and after more than 10 minutes D’Ambrosio already placed the 1-0 on the scoreboard.
Napoli recovered little from that early blow and grew in the game. It also decorated some chances for the equalizer, but it wrung the neck.
In the second act, Inter eventually secured the loot thanks to a flash from Lautaro on the closing of the quarter.
The spring was broken at Napoli, an efficient Inter gave up the victory and second place.
Saturday goes Inter to Atalanta. It itself has 79 points, Atalanta has 78 units to its name.
Number 4 Lazio (75 points) will play against Brescia on Wednesday and will play on the field of Napoli on the final match day.
