“Lightning” beat New York in the sixth game of the Eastern Conference finals with a score of 2: 1Islanders”Unit and won up to four wins in the series with a score of 4-2.
“Islanders” hockey players took the lead with their first throw in the fifth minute of the game, when Devons Father received a pass from Anders Lee, slipped the goal and beat Andrejs Vasilevskis. But two minutes later, Lightning equalized. Viktors Hedmans was the first to hit the puck after Erik Černāk’s shot and scored it. This was the fifth game in a row when the Islanders took the lead first.
The match continued in a similar fight, but there was more work for Islanders goalkeeper Semyon Varlamov, who repelled 46 shots throughout the game. After 14 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Anthony Sirelli might have resulted in another goal for Stanley Gudrova.
Lightning won the Eastern Conference for the third time and made it to the Stanley Cup final. It previously won the Stanley Cup in 2004.
The Stanley Cup final between “Stars” and “Lightning” will start on the night of Monday after Latvian time.
