The law does not protect the intelligent! • Observatory Newspaper

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The writer, Mishaal Al-Sudairi, narrated a funny story that happened to his friend, from a company that sells a solar-powered correspondence device for drying clothes.

Clothes dryer

Al-Sudairi said in his article, which was titled “The Rope and the Donkey” in the “Al-Sharq Al-Awsat” newspaper, that a man in America had advertised in a well-known magazine and on the Internet about a company selling a solar-powered clothes-drying device by correspondence, at a price of $49.45, equivalent to 180 riyals, including shipping prices until he reaches home, and most of the consignments were destined for the Arab countries, and it is strange that the requests reached record numbers.

The donkey competes with its intelligence

He added, and among those who requested this product is a friend of mine, who competes with the donkey in his intelligence, as he came to me last night with signs of upset on his face, and sat without saying hello, and spoke without introductions while saying: Imagine that the consignment that I requested arrived to me yesterday, and I was surprised first by its smallness The size of the carton containing the drying device, and when I opened it I was stunned when I found it to be just an ordinary (clothesline) wrapped and clamped with nylon, with some clips that fix clothes and towels on the rope.

Tie your donkey

The clerk pointed out that his friend began to (foam and foam) accusing them of cheating, and that a lawsuit must be filed against them. I said to him: Take it easy and (tie your donkey) – i.e. your tongue – the company knows how to protect itself, it did not lie because the rope actually dries clothes under the energy of the sun’s rays.

Give me your locks

The writer concluded his article by saying, O Faleh, the law does not protect (intelligent people) from people like you. It is better for you to extend the rope on the roof of your house, and spread your laundry (the dirt) on it, and “give me your back” – that is, go to (where you threw it).
