The largest solar power plant in Poland is being launched in the Brudzew commune in Greater Poland

– This is one of the largest investments in green energy implemented by private capital in Poland. This is another milestone in the energy transformation of both ZE PAK and the entire Wielkopolska region. We want PAK to generate energy only from renewable sources by 2030 – incl. from the sun, wind and biomass. Soon we are also launching the production of green hydrogen in Konin, which is the fuel of the future – said Piotr Woźny, president of ZE PAK SA.

The solar farm in Brudzewo will noticeably reduce the carbon footprint and contribute to limiting global warming. It is to produce approximately 68,188 MWh of energy annually, which will translate into an annual reduction in CO emissions₂ by 56.7 thousand tons.

– Brudzew – once a mine, today green energy production is a real symbol of the Polish energy transformation. Thanks to an investment worth PLN 163.8 million net – built entirely with private money – the reclaimed area has regained its value in use and is an example of how to implement the energy transformation in Poland, including the creation of new jobs for people leaving the mining industry – added Piotr Woźny , President of ZE PAK SA.

The construction of the power plant in Brudzewo includes 306 inverters and over 900 km of cables and optical fibers. The fence of the farm, which is accessed by 16 entrance gates, is 12 km long. The farm is equipped with 31 transformer stations, and the module pallets have been processed into plywood boards that will be used for the production of furniture. It is the first type D power generation module in Poland that has all ION certifications.
