Citizens continue to protest by holding pickets saying’I want democracy’ or sounding vehicle horns.

As the flames of the protests that have been running for nearly two weeks have not faded, concerns about bloodshed are also growing.

In fact, testimony of military personnel shooting at the site of the Mandalay Railroad Workers’ strike protests has not yet been reported to have had any major clashes.

In this situation, the military government is known to have issued arrest warrants for 15 members of the nationalist national alliance led by state adviser Aung San Suu Kyi.
