‘The King of Fighters XV’: novo trailer confirma Mai Shiranui

One of the most iconic characters in the fighting games of SNK finally confirmed in ‘The King of Fighters XV’: Mai Shiranui is the star of the latest game trailer.

A ninja is the latest in a long series of character revelations for the game, which includes King, Yashiro Nanakase, Yuri Sakazaki, Kyo Kusanagi, Shun’ei, Chizuru Kagura, Iori Yagami, Benimaru, Joe, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard and Meitenkun. Announced in 2019, ‘KOF XV’ is scheduled for release this year.

Mai is so beloved among fans that she always appears in the promotional arts and merchandising of SNK games, so her performance at ‘KOF XV’ was a matter of time. In addition to ‘King of Fighters’ and ‘Fatal Fury’, the fighter also participated in another fighting game, ‘Dead or Alive’, through DLC.

Traditionally, she forms a 100% female team in ‘KOF’, with King and Yuri Sakazaki, having been barred in the ‘Fatal Fury’ team by the Bogard brothers. SNK has not yet announced which platforms ‘The King of Fighters XV’ will be available for, but ensures that the game continues the legacy of the ‘KOF’ series with its iconic 3-on-3 battles between teams, plus different stories and endings for each one of the teams.

Mai is also one of the characters in a classic SNK title, re-released for Nintendo Swich in February: ‘SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium‘, originally released in 1999 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, is available for download from the console’s online store.

In ‘SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium ‘, you have access to a series of characters – 26 in all, also considering the secrets – from world-renowned franchises of fighting games, such as’ The King of Fighters ‘,’ Samurai Shodown ‘,’ Darkstalkers ‘and’ Street Fighter ‘. Available in the game are the “Single Player” modes, for more solitary players; “Tag” and “Team” for those who are adept at challenges with friends, in addition to “Survival”, “Time Attack” and several minigames to collect points and unlock hidden characters.
