The price of the dollar rose against the pound today, Thursday, at 10 operating banks in Egypt, as of the end of trading, from its level at the close of trading yesterday.
The dollar’s average exchange rate against the pound rose 63 points, to £27.01 buying and £27.11 selling, according to today’s central bank data, to reach an all-time high.
And the price of the dollar jumped in banks yesterday, after the National Bank and the Bank of Egypt offered certificates with a high yield, ranging between 22.5 and 25%.

National Bank of Egypt: £26.95 for buying, £27 for selling, an increase of 70 piastres for buying and selling.
Banque Misr: £26.95 to buy and £27 to sell, plus 70 piastres per buy.
Banco di Alessandria: £27 per purchase, £27.10 per sale, increase of 60 piastres per sale.
Banque Du Caire: £26.95 to buy, an increase of 45 piastres, and £27.05 to sell, an increase of 70 piastres.
Commercial International Bank: £27 to buy, £27.10 to sell, an increase of 70 piastres to buy.
Suez Canal Bank: £26.85 per buy, £26.95 per sale, 45 piastre increase per trade.
Credit Agricole bank: £26.85 per buy, £26.95 per sale, 45 piastre increase per trade.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank: £27.20 for buying, £27.25 for selling, an increase of £1.05 for buying and selling.
Al Baraka Bank: £26.75 to buy and £26.85 to sell, an increase of 30 piastres per trade.
Housing and Development Bank: £27 to buy, £27.10 to sell, an increase of 65 piastres to buy.
