The innkeeper of the Czechs, the highest and best in the season, Moravec spoiled during the shooting

The Olympic silver medalist from Pyongyang, as on Sunday, the innkeeper shot down all ten targets in the sprint. The 29-year-old Czech national team member repelled the onslaught of a number of competitors in the last round and finished in the top ten for the first time this season. “It’s not like that on that track. I’m going where the body is going. But the gradation of the pace shows that the body is starting up and that speed is coming there,” he told Czech Television.

He last finished in the top ten in January, when he was ninth in the race with a mass start in Oberhof. So far, he has shot down 39 of 40 targets in Kontiolahti. “Of course, I’m satisfied that it fits there. On the other hand, they are not brisk, fast items, as I shot it in the summer,” added Krčmář.

Moravec fired accurately again and fit into the top ten

Thanks to him, Czech men are represented in the top 10 and in the third race of the new biathlon season. Last week, the Czech hero Moravec did not have such an accurate line of sight today and especially blamed himself for two standing mistakes.

“The stand was one without concentration, unnecessary blows. The conditions may not have been ideal, but definitely not for shooting for two,” he said. He only appreciated a solid run. “I would see that as the only positive in this race. Forget everything else quickly,” Moravec added.

Today’s sprint, thanks to flawless shooting and the second running time, was dominated by Tarjei Bö, who gave almost thirty minutes to the more successful younger sibling Johannes Thingnes. He missed once and was slower to run than Tarjei. German Arnd Peiffer wedged himself among the Norwegian brothers.

Czech loser. David fired badly and scored only four points

In addition to Krčmář and Moravec, the 48th Jakub Štvrtecký and the 58th Tomáš Krupčík fought their way into the fighter from the Czech national team. Adam Václavík finished two places behind the promotion 60.

At 16:30, the women’s sprint will begin in Kontiolahti.
