The impressive construction video of the Hudson Yards neighborhood in New York

The EarthCam YouTube account published this Thursday, March 14 a breathtaking video that looks at the Hudson Yards neighborhood in New York. The time-lapse in question summarizes seven years of impressive work carried out to erect six skyscrapers and other innovative architectural structures.

Inaugurated this week, this new district located in Manhattan is the largest private real estate project in the history of the United States. The overall budget has reached no less than $ 25 billion. The site will have lasted more than seven years.

The Hudson Yards now house both offices, already occupied by multinationals like L’Oréal, but also housing, numerous restaurants and shops. The first inhabitants of the district were thus able to access their very luxurious apartments this week. The price of housing varies between 3 and over 30 million dollars.

Promoter of this very ambitious project, Stephen Ross said he wanted to make Hudson Yards “the biggest tourist attraction” in the city and “a New York icon”.
