SUMEDANG, KOMPAS.TV – Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir admitted that Tanjakan Cae, Sukajadi Village, Wado District, Sumedang Regency, West Java, had frequent accidents.
The location also claimed lives when the bus group of SMP IT Al Muawwanah, Cisalak, Subang, entered a ravine on Wednesday (10/3/2021) evening at around 18.30 WIB.
According to Dony, Tanjakan Cae is an access road Sumedang – Malangbong which is long and quite steep. So it is prone to accidents. Bus accidents have also happened before.

“Yes, there are frequent accidents there. Previously there was a bus on Tanjakan Cae like that, indeed often, you have to be careful,” he said in Breaking News KOMPAS TV, Wednesday.
Even Dony admitted that some time ago his party together with local officials had just cleared landslides and fallen trees in Tanjakan Cae.
“Actually, yesterday, the TNI, Polri, and subdistrict officers had cleared landslides, fallen trees, we have overcome them from the previous incident,” he said.
