Belgian cyclist Wout van Aert received a penalty for throwing waste in an illegal place during the 3rd stage of the Tour de France. The holder of the yellow jersey for the overall leader must pay a fine of 500 Swiss francs and have 25 points deducted from the UCI ranking.
