The hedgehog goes charity: Hachenburg play in the elderly center Haus Helena

On October 31st, the play “How the hedgehog came on the plate” will be performed exclusively for the residents of the Caritas Altenzentrum Haus Helena in Hachenburg, instead of, as originally planned, on the old market. An entertaining story behind the traditional “hedgehog meal”.

Hachenburg. It pokes again, because the next ?? Ischel performance ?? is pending. This time the ?? theater makers ?? with the amusing piece ?? How the hedgehog came onto the plate ?? not on the old market, but in the Caritas Altenzentrum Haus Helena in Hachenburg. On October 31st, at 1 p.m., all residents are invited to have a great time. The event is not open to the public.

The play, penned by Thomas Sonnenschein, tells the story behind the traditional “Ischel meal”. Amusing and entertaining, it offers four variations on how it came about that the people of Hachenburg love ?? hedgehogs ?? eat, but only one of them is the real story. The piece, initiated by cultural advisor Beate Macht, celebrated its world premiere at the picnics this summer and was regularly performed until October as part of the public city tour on the Old Market.

The performance is a cooperation project of the Hachenburger Kulturzeit with the theatermachern eV and the Kirmesgesellschaft Hachenburg. (PM)
