According to him, the weather is affected by the cold front, which will cross the Czech Republic from the west on Sunday, and on Saturday the influx of very warm air from the south will culminate in the country.
Temperatures above the tropical 30 degrees Celsius are to be expected in the afternoon by people, especially in Prague, Central Bohemia, South Bohemia, Pilsen, Karlovy Vary and the Ústí nad Labem region.
On Sunday, with the arrival of the cold front, there will be occasionally strong storms. The warning about them applies to the whole of Bohemia and the Vysočina region. Torrential rains can flood small streams and flood lower places, strong winds can break branches and trees, and lightning poses a danger, CHMI warned, adding that in the northwestern half of Bohemia, due to high temperatures and low rainfall in the past period, there is danger. fires.
