President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Vladimir Drachev spoke about the attitude to the coronavirus pandemic. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.

“Slowly, little by little, we’ll get them all over. The mask should probably be worn so that everyone does not get sick at the same time. But one must also understand that this is a common flu, a kind of catarrhal disease, ”Drachev calculated. He added that he had a positive attitude towards the regime of self-isolation in Moscow and had already switched to remote work.

Earlier March 30, RIA Novosti reported that a coronavirus was found in Russian biathlete Anastasia Khaliullina. It was noted that the disease is mild. The athlete herself said that she was waiting for a confirmation of the diagnosis.

On March 29, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin introduced a general isolation regime in the capital. It began to operate on March 30 and applies to all residents of the city, regardless of age. At the same time, it does not limit the right of citizens to come to Moscow or leave it.

In Moscow, more than a thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been reported. Eight patients who were treated in the capital died.
