The Arroyo Harnina IES has not wanted the pandemic to stop the celebration of its solidarity career that it organizes every year to donate funds to NGOs and associations that promote solidarity projects. This year, like most groups, it goes virtual and will do the race with its students using the Strava mobile application, widely used by runners.
The title of the race is ‘We run for a dream’ and the funds obtained this year will be donated to Cáritas Almendralejo and Cruz Roja Almendralejo. The runners have to find one or more sponsors who will donate money to the runner depending on the kilometers traveled in the event. The test can only be done between February 13 and 19. Each runner will be able to see the kilometers traveled in their application and share them in the event. Sponsors can donate by distance or by kilometers.
The center involves students, teachers, parents and mothers for this solidarity career. They will try to disseminate it to all collaborating companies through photographs posted on their social networks and shared by the participants. They will also appear on the event posters. The institute also makes commemorative t-shirts and bracelets of the race that can be purchased for five and one euro, respectively.
