Anyone who didn’t think about their mother on the Garden Days yesterday could perhaps quickly get a present for Mother’s Day today. Until this afternoon you could still go to Haasdonk for flowers on the Pastoor Verwilghenplein. ‘Bloemen Anja’ from Melsele has been selling bouquets there for years. On Mother’s Day, mothers are showered with gifts and compliments. And often there are flowers too. Florists do great business on days like today. And they are a blessing for those who have to quickly get something to thank their mom.
