Al-Wefaq stressed that “what political prisoners are subjected to is a crime and constitutes a threat to the lives of these politicians who are crowded in the prisons of the Bahraini regime. It is not permissible to deal with prisoners in relation to their food, health and basic needs.”

She pointed out that denying water, treatment, heating, medicine, seeing the sun, normal communication with family, and other inhumane conditions constitute a crime and a systematic attack on the lives of political prisoners, as they were arrested for reasons related to human rights, political and humanitarian demands, and related to public freedoms.

Al-Wefaq considered that turning a blind eye to what is happening in Bahrain and ignoring all transgressions and crimes against human rights by all Western countries and parties supporting the regime is unacceptable and unacceptable. human rights and freedoms”.
