The Germans also put the Central Bohemian Region on the red list in Prague

The Czech-German border will remain open. Restrictions should not apply to symptoms without covid-19.

Listing pending. For the German authorities, the decisive criterion is to exceed the limit of 50 infected per 100 thousand inhabitants in the last seven days.

This limit is exceeded by many districts not only in the Central Bohemian Region, but in the entire Czech Republic. In Central Bohemia it is, for example, Beroun (123.08), Benešov (104.61), Kladno (109.92), Mělník (96.6) or Příbram (90.35).

In the Czech Republic, the number of newly confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection has been growing in recent days, several times significantly exceeding one thousand. On Tuesday, a record of 1,675 newly infected was recorded again. Another 1,293 cases were added by Wednesday evening.
