The Galaxy S22 series has rolled a lot by merging the Note

After months of speculation, Samsung’s “Unpacked” event yesterday ended, not surprisingly, with the company’s three-member S22 series of smartphone flagships. Virtually all the details of the devices were leaked before yesterday’s presentation, including the fact that the South Korean manufacturer is adding the previously existing Note models to the new series.

With the exception of the latter type, the S22 Ultra, the S22 and S22 Plus models look almost like an intermittent copy of last year’s models. At the same time, the displays used in the devices can already operate uniformly with an image refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, dynamically adjusting to the content. The three new models are also equipped with an ambient light sensor that always adjusts the color temperature and saturation level to the ambient conditions.

Compared to last year’s models, the new models have also become more resistant, so Samsung promises IP68 protection, and the display is now protected from scratches by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on all three versions. The innovations also include a slightly more powerful and, in principle, more energy-efficient system processor, so all three devices feature the same Samsung Exynos processor with 4nm manufacturing technology (models destined for the United States are usually shipped with Qualcomm’s current state-of-the-art processors).

In addition to the above, the new S22 models are also a must-have in terms of camera upgrades, with the new models promising even better shooting in low light conditions thanks to more advanced sensor technology and software algorithms, as well as better, more accurate color reproduction and the portrait mode has also been further developed by Samsung engineers.

The news comes pre-loaded with the latest version 12 of the Android operating system, the latest release of the Samsung One UI. The manufacturer has also announced that it will provide four generations of operating system updates for the new devices as well as some of last year’s top models.

Outstanding among the three new products is the S22 Ultra, a successor to the former Note series with a 6.8-inch screen, which inherited the essential accessory of previous Note devices, the S-Pent, and an important change from the other two models is that it the model is also capable of taking RAW photos, and Samsung also offers versions with 512GB and 1TB of storage.

However, the latter packaging will not be available in Hungary, the recommended retail price of the S22 Ultra ranges from HUF 489.990 to HUF 569.990, depending on the memory design. Sales of the top model will begin on February 25th. The 128 GB and 256 GB versions of the Galaxy S22, on the other hand, come at a suggested retail price of HUF 334,990 and HUF 354.990, while the Galaxy S22 + 128 GB and 256 GB versions are available at a suggested retail price of HUF 409.990 and HUF 429.990 from 11 March.
