“During the inspections, no violations were observed in the observance of epidemiological safety measures,” Anna Joffe, a public relations specialist of the Public Relations Division of the FVS, assured LETA.
According to her, inspections of other food businesses are carried out in the prescribed manner. During the emergency, special attention was paid to higher risk objects, trade and catering companies that sell non-prepacked food.
Joffe also pointed out that during the distribution of Covid-19, the FVS calls on food retailers and catering companies to intensify the cleaning and disinfection of surfaces that are more frequently touched by customers’ and staff’s hands, including door handles, work surfaces and epidemiological safety measures.
