The Friends of the Rinklingen Primary School surprised with Santa Claus gifts: Ho, Ho, Ho – Maintain tradition despite Corona

Bretten-Rinklingen. Surprise bags for the Nikolausfest. Thanks to voluntary helpers, the Friends of the Rinklingen Primary School was pleased that a Santa Claus surprise was held this year for all the children of the Rinklingen Primary School. All of this was planned and implemented taking into account the currently applicable corona requirements.

“We’ll come up with something again”, said Timo Hagino, Secretary of the Friends’ Association on request from parents a few weeks ago.
So it happened in November that the board team came up with ideas and possibilities to give the school community in Rinklingen a little joy on St. Nicholas Day.

“At our last virtual board meeting we decided that, despite Corona, we want to hold a Santa Claus surprise for the Rinkling primary school children, teachers and supervisors”, commented Lars Vollmer, the chairman of the board of directors of the association, the current situation on St. “We will continue to maintain this tradition in the future.”
Unfortunately, the gifts could not be handed over personally due to the corona. However, a “pick-up point” was set and the teachers on site kindly took over the handover to the students.

“It deserves appreciation that among our members we have people who are committed every year, think for themselves and help actively implement fresh ideas”, mentioned the treasurer of the association, Giovanni Iacobellis. This is how the association member organized and packed Meike Dorn every year over 80 little surprise bags for all children of the Rinklingen primary school in loving detail. And that for 8 years.
“This commitment deserves recognition”, commented Waldemar Bauder, Deputy Chairman of the Förderverein, who insisted on handing over a bouquet of flowers as a thank you to Ms. Meike Dorn on behalf of the entire board. “I really enjoyed doing that. For me it was a pleasure for the Rinklinger elementary school children to prepare and put together the Santa Claus surprises ”, said Meike Dorn, who will hand over this Santa Claus commitment to a successor next year.

In the spirit of “Our children are our future”, the Friends’ Association of the Rinklingen Primary School is looking forward to broad support and donations from citizens and companies from all over the Bretten area.www.foerderverein-gs-rinklingen.de) or on your own Facebook page (www.facebook.com/foerderverein.gs.rinklingen) to read.
