The first video story of a Liepaja lion has been published

The idea of the creative team of “Lion Games” is not only to provide various cognitive and leisure activities for families with children, but also to give the city symbol a character that expresses a set of values of courage, kindness, wisdom and understandable to the children’s audience.

The author of the video script, Anna Pauls Gruzdiņa, says: “You could say that the idea of a lion-superhero was given to me by the lion itself. The coat of arms of the southern border of the city is a convenient distance from the bike ride, so I most often visit this lion and I came up with an idea every time I lingered there – here a lion tells something to a lion, here a linden disappears, a little lion grows here and you have to get to know Liepaja. I once laughed about this special muse of mine until I realized that if a lion already helps me like that, maybe she helps all the people of Liepaja. And why couldn’t a lion be a superhero? This gave rise to the idea of a lion’s feat, which also addressed the project team.

In this video, the lion of the Liepāja coat of arms introduces himself and his exploits. Everyone is invited to look and judge which of them need superpowers and which of them simply need help. Maybe it’s the superpower we all have, but everyone will have to know it for themselves. “
