The crown was given to the contestant Pushpica De Silva, but the 2019 winner Caroline Jurie took the crown from her live. According to Giurie, De Silva could not be the owner of the title, since she is divorced, and according to the rules of the competition, only married women can participate in it.

However, after the competition, the organizers nevertheless decided to give the crown to the original winner – De Silva, since she is not officially divorced yet, which means that she has fulfilled all the conditions of the competition, notes Srilanka Mirror.
