The KinoPoisk portal summed up the results of the audience voting at the Kinotavr festival and presented the corresponding prize to the winner. This year, the best in the opinion of the people was film “Doctor Lisa” directed by Oksana Karas. The painting scored 8.5 points out of 10.
It is followed by the mystical drama about the Yakut sorceress “Scarecrow” (8 points) and the film “Whaler” by Philip Yuryev (7.9 points), which flashed at the Venice Film Festival.
Recall that “Doctor Lisa” is a film about 24 hours in the life of the famous resuscitation doctor, founder of the Fair Help Foundation, Elizaveta Glinka, who died in a plane crash in 2016. The main role was played by Chulpan Khamatova, Konstantin Khabensky, Andrei Burkovsky and Yulia Aug are also involved in the film.
The film premiered at Kinotavr on 13 September and will be released on 22 October.
We add that the mentioned voting takes place online, in the official application of “Kinotavr”. This year the Audience Award was presented for the third time.
