On Friday, October 2, on TV6 at 21.00 The TV season premiered the latest season of the reality show “Lauku sēta”, where 13 diligent participants started the competition for the main prize – stiga riders worth 7,000 euros. Already in the first episode of the show, fists were rolled out, the first antipathies arose and the participants had no idea who would work with whom.

The participants got to know each other for the first time by going to the farm “Joki” in Ģipka parish with the owners Ieviņa and Ainars and already on the way they became friends, chanting the first day of “Lauku sētas” with a self-composed song.
The participants were greeted by the sea by Neptune himself, who values them as hardworking workers, and accompanied by John, the participants were taken to the farm itself, where they will spend the summer. The participants were also greeted by the hosts, dressed in real folk costumes, and Jānis introduced the hosts to his hopefully diligent helpers.
The participants admitted that they had run hard to work and try to reach the finals only by creating strategies. The first disagreements have already appeared between the participants – someone is too loud, but someone is too big a mouth brewer. The first task for the participants is to divide the rooms and their beds – someone is very dissatisfied with their roommate, someone on the contrary sees it as an opportunity to make new friendships.
When the evening came, the boys went to rest and disappeared – as a punishment for this, urged by John, the girls decided that the boys would have to prepare breakfast for it and serve it in bed. Another important task that the participants had to do in the evening was to clean the kitchen and also to decorate their dining area, in this task everyone wanted to take the lead to show and prove their diligence in decorating the kitchen. Someone cleaned the gas stove, another washed the floor, but someone just kept the refrigerator. And if in the morning the men have fulfilled their task and the girls have breakfast in bed – however, some ladies do not recognize the service of boys. A good breakfast was followed by a good morning bustle by the sea under Venus, but one of the guys could not stand Sigita’s short shorts and challenging costume, and left the morning bustle.
When the participants had thoroughly exercised, it was time for the first task – to arrange their own shower or SPA area. The SPA area had to be built together and this time Juris or Jurčiks took over the management. The participants were divided into two teams – one who builds, the other who prepares the material. As the supervisor Juris coped with his tasks, thoughts are divided – one appreciates, but another admitted that there is no point in the supervisor.
At first, this work seemed like nothing to the participants, but in reality, the works did not go ahead as planned from the beginning. The mutual relations also changed as the work was done. Mārtiņš insulted the girls with his mouth, respectively, the girls spoke quite harshly about Mārtiņš. Mutual intrigues and relationships between the participants have already developed in the first days – “Lauku Sēta” Jurčiks decided to joke and this joke led Jurčiks and Guntars to waving their fists. The fists were fluttered quickly, but the construction of the shower did not proceed and the work turned into late at night.
This season, “Lauku Sēta” is expected to turn after the turn – both the hosts and the participants themselves will take care of it. Coalitions, schemes, llama names, intrigues in the first episode made the participants get to know each other better. Who will remain loyal to their coalition, but who will play a double game?
