The FCCQ and the Regroupement des Chambres de Commerce de la Mauricie are mobilizing

The Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) and the Regroupement des chambres de commerce de la Mauricie will act as the link between the government of Quebec and businesses wishing to host vaccination campaigns. To do this, they are now launching an online form for interested companies to indicate their interest, in order to allow government authorities to identify the best potential sites.

The form for companies is available here. The information will be sent to the Ministry of Health and Social Services, which will make the selection and communicate directly with the companies selected. For any questions about the vaccination campaign, companies can also contact [email protected]

Since January, the FCCQ has been in contact with the Government of Quebec, in particular the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé. She submitted to him a detailed game plan to identify companies likely to participate in the vaccination campaign, in order to provide the ministry with the most clear and standardized information possible.

“We believe that companies can play a major role in vaccination, but also our network of chambers of commerce well established in their local environment, in order to network between companies interested in hosting vaccination campaigns, or even contributing to the ‘collective effort thanks to their workforce,’ said Charles Milliard, President and CEO of the FCCQ.

“The Covid has largely affected our businesses and industries in the territory of the RCCM over the past year and vaccination is the beacon of hope that the economy of our towns and villages will pick up again. Accelerating the pace of vaccination is certainly a way to speed up recovery and finally regain the vitality of our regions. I am convinced that several member companies of the RCCM chambers of commerce, which meet the eligibility criteria, will be ready to put in place mechanisms to protect their employees and the chambers will be present to support them in their process. ” added Johanne Hinse, president of the group.
