The FBI has released a declassified document on the 9/11 attacks

The contacts that the kidnappers had with Saudi collaborators in the United States are described

The FBI has released a 16-page declassified document related to the logistical support provided to two of the Saudi kidnappers in preparation for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The document describes the kidnappers’ contacts with Saudi collaborators in the United States, but does not provide evidence that the Saudi government was complicit in the plot, the Associated Press reported.

The document was released following a decree by President Joe Biden, Reuters reported.

Relatives of the victims called on Biden not to attend yesterday’s commemoration ceremonies marking the 20th anniversary of the attacks, unless he declassified documents that they said would show Saudi support for the plot. Saudi Arabia has long said it has no role in the attacks, which have killed nearly 3,000 people.
