After the fake police, here are the fake police. A resident of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) paid the price this Friday morning.
Shortly before 10:50 am, a domestic worker contacted the police to report the theft of a jewelry box from the home of a 75-year-old man on rue Raymond-Gréban.
She explains that a woman claiming to be a police officer broke into the home with false motives and stole a chest containing jewelry from the bathroom.
The pseudo-policewoman also searched a whole room and took over other jewelry and more than € 500 in cash.
The usurper flees when the cleaning lady arrives. The latter was therefore able to provide the woman’s report.
An investigation was opened for theft by false quality by the police of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
