Dr. Osama Rahmeh, head of the Sun Research Laboratory at the Institute, said that the asteroid was at the closest point to the Earth at 11:16 Cairo time on Saturday January 9, 2021 AD and at a distance of 0.038 astronomical units, about 5 million and 700 thousand km, meaning the distance between the Earth and the Moon 14 One and a half times it is considered a very safe distance and its apparent luminosity was two and a half times less than that of Pluto, and it can be seen with a telescope of 14 inches or greater, and the next approach will be on November 18, 2025 at a distance of about 36 million km, and the next approach will be on September 24, 2030 at a distance of about 30 Million km.
