The Formula 1 drivers usually come by plane to the Grand Prix country, but once on location they also have a car at their disposal to transport them in the area. Ted Kravitz from Sky Sports went to the Hungaroring parking lot today to see which cars the drivers had arrived with.
Most Formula 1 drivers and teams slept in a nearby hotel during the race weekend in Hungary. In order to move between their sleeping place and the track, they used a car. This is usually not a car that they have in the garage at home, but a car that is sponsored by the team or the engine supplier. Kravitz went to the Hungaroring parking lot to see which cars the drivers had arrived with and saw that the Red Bull cars had unfortunately already left. Happy we saw earlier that Max Verstappen with an Aston Martin DB11 came to the circuit in Budapest.

The images below show that Kravitz’s eye first falls on the car of Franz Tost, the team boss of AlphaTauri. He drives around in a Volkswagen Passat with a 2.0 liter engine. Kravitz then turns his attention to the drivers’ cars. It can be seen that Lewis Hamilton in Valtteri Bottas both different Mercedes under their ass and both Ferraridrivers remarkably in one Alfa Romeo came to the circuit. Esteban Ocon and Daniel Ricciardo both got an equivalent and yellow colored Renault from their employer.

Daniil Kvyat in Pierre Gasly apart from the Aston Martin van Verstappen, perhaps the best for each other in Hungary. They received a beautiful and very sporty Honda Civic Type R from Honda with a triple exhaust. Romain Grosjean, in which Haas still driving a Ferrari engine, left the circuit with a Mercedes GLE, the same car as Hamilton. Bee Racing Point, which in turn drives many parts of Mercedes, the drivers were presented with a BMW and Audi. Below all cars in a row.
