The expected line-up of the Red Devils against England: …

It has been a puzzle for national coach Roberto Martinez. The national coach cannot rely on base pawns Thibaut Courtois, Dries Mertens and Eden Hazard. At the back, Jan Vertonghen was insecure for a long time, but he will probably get a basic place and will wearing a mask.

While Mignolet is an obvious choice for Courtois, Martinez had multiple options to replace captain Hazard. Ultimately, Yannick Carrasco seems to be preferred. The flank attacker – who sometimes has to take care of the entire flank – can thus once again play offensively. In his back, Timothy Castagne will provide cover.

Due to the absence of Dries Mertens, Martinez has no choice stress on the right. Kevin De Bruyne will supply Romelu Lukaku, Axel Witsel and Youri Tielemans form the heart of the midfield.

Expected line-up:

Courtois – Alderweireld, Denayer, Vertonghen – Meunier, Witsel, Tielemans, Castagne – De Bruyne, Lukaku, Carrasco
