On May 9 this year, the Supervisory Board of Swedbank approved Menci as the Chairman of the Board. Until then, Mencis was a member of the bank’s board and head of the Corporate Affairs Department.
Mencis has been acting Chairman of the Board since January 2022, as in December last year, after five years in office, Reinis Rubenis resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Swedbank Latvia, who was appointed one of the largest in January 2022.
