“The “E” in ESG Makes the Difference: Exploring Environmental Risks in Companies”

As part of the series of lectures “Together Sustainable” by the universities of applied science in NRW, the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln invites all interested parties to the topic on June 14th: The “E” in ESG makes the difference – environmental risks in and for companies. Registration is now possible, the places in attendance are limited. The event is free. Registration deadline is June 08, 2023.

ESG means: Environmental, Social and Governance (environment, social issues and corporate management) and describes a comprehensive set of rules for evaluating the sustainable and ethical practices of companies. Environmental risks in and for companies “ESG” is used in an inflationary manner, but the intention is not always met.
The “E” for “Environment” is crucial: Obviously, many companies practice greenwashing and thus increase environmental and corporate risks. In this lecture, this discrepancy will be addressed and concrete recommendations for action will be developed.
