A project worth more than a billion euros was launched this Thursday at La Défense. Good news for the economy in this period of health crisis linked to the coronavirus because the construction of
“The Link”, 130,000 m2 office tower and future headquarters of
Total plans to create 1,500 to 2,000 jobs. In the maneuver of this new tower in La Défense, Groupama, owner of the site, Vinci in construction, and
architect Philippe Chiambaretta (PCA-STREAM) for the design.
The reception of the building is scheduled for the second half of 2025 and will allow Total to bring together “our teams, currently located in Paris la Défense, in a modern, bright, pleasant setting, which will respect individual comfort while facilitating interactions and which will respond to highest environmental quality requirements, “said Namita Shah, Managing Director People & Social Responsibility and member of the Executive Committee of Total.
“The Link” is a double connected tower on 30 floors. Its “Arch” wing rises 228 m above the Defense square and comprises 50 floors. The “Seine” wing culminates at 165 m and has 35 floors. The tower will have a rooftop and many terraces or hanging gardens. It will have the highest environmental certification (HQE Exceptional).
