The Egyptian pound was able to impose a decline on the exchange rate of the US dollar with the fairness of Sunday’s transactions in Egyptian banks.
The dollar lived in a state of stability throughout last week’s transactions, but it retreated today with the start of the weekly trading.
The price of the dollar today in the Central Bank of Egypt reached 15.80 pounds for sale and 15.68 pounds for purchase.
Lowest dollar rate
With the fairness of today’s transactions in banks, the lowest price of the dollar came at 15.67 pounds for purchase and 15.77 pounds for sale, in the Arab African International Bank and Ahli United Bank.
The highest dollar rate
The highest price of the American currency came at midday at the level of 15.71 pounds for purchase and 15.81 pounds for sale in the Egyptian Gulf Bank and Mashreq Bank
9 banks at the same price
The dollar lost one penny in the Egyptian and Al-Ahly Banks of Egypt, to reach 15.69 pounds for purchase and 15.79 pounds for sale, and the same price was repeated in the banks of the Suez Canal, first Abu Dhabi, reconstruction and housing, Arab investment, Egyptian export development, industrial development, Odeh.
Different rates for a dollar
The price of 15.70 pounds to buy and 15.80 pounds is repeated in six banks today, and they are: Credit Agricole, Bloom, Al Baraka, Abu Dhabi Islamic and Kuwait National, Cairo.
15.68 pounds for purchase and 15.78 pounds for sale This price was repeated in 9 banks with the middle of daily transactions and this came in HSBC, QNB, Egyptian Real Estate, Egypt, Iran, CIB, Emirates NBD, Alexandria, Al-Ahly Kuwait and The United Bank.
