Theater director, actor and choreographer Vladimirs Grigorjevs – a graduate of the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography – went to choreography school as a child and later almost poisoned figure skating, but for 42 years his creative activity was related to the Latvian Puppet Theater.

From 1970 to 2009 he was an actor of the Russian troupe of the Latvian Puppet Theater and played more than 80 roles in such performances as “The Adventures of a Snowman”, “White and Black”, “Ginjols in Paris”, “Three Piglets and a Wolf”, “Doctor Aikāsāp”, “Divine Comedy”, “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs”, “You, Parents!”, “Clown Loretti and Smile”, “Circus Horse Bumbers”, “Three Secrets of the Witch”, “Stork and the Scarecrow”, ” Adventures of Pinocchio “,” Bear Rimcimci “,” Puss in Boots “,” Ali-Baba and the Robbers “,” Adventures of Onion “and many others.

Since 1988, Vladimirs Grigorjevs has directed more than 10 performances of the Latvian Puppet Theater as a director, including “Golden Chick”, “Decameron”, “Cinderella”, “Clown Loretti and Smile”, “Bear Rimcimci”, “Ali-Baba and Robbers” , “Fox Swindler”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Little Musk”, “Doctor Aikāsāp”.
