On this occasion, Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist, Consultant Fertility, Endocrinology, and Reproductive, Dr. dr. Andon Hestiantoro, Sp.OG(K), said that endometriosis pain can also occur during sexual intercourse. In addition, pain is felt when you urinate (BAK) and defecate (BAK).

“The pain is very cyclic, related to surrounding organs. Currently there are diagnostic tools for detection, with ultrasound and can be equipped with MRI to identify whether there are small endometriosis lesions or seeds around the uterine cavity and ovaries,” he said.
