“Directing this film was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life,as it allowed me to collaborate with some of the greatest names in horror-artists I deeply admired long before I ever worked behind the camera,” Hollow shared with Bloody Nauseating. “To share time on set with them was a gift, and their performances feel even more precious now that some are no longer with us.”
Hollow further explained his decade-long revision, stating, “10 years after the film’s first release, I felt the need to not just refine it, but to transform it into something entirely new. I’ve reshaped it into a darker, more linear, more personal, and far richer vision than before. This cut stands not only as the definitive version of the film, but also as my tribute to the exceptional people who helped bring it to life.”
