the dematerialized automobile tax certificate

The tax discharge (or tax certificate) is necessary to obtain the registration certificate (ex-carte grise) of a vehicle, new or used, purchased in another State of the European Union. This document guarantees that the vehicle is in good standing with regard to value added tax (VAT).

The Moselle user is now invited to download the print n ° 1993 from the impots.gouv.fr site. Once completed, it will have to transmit it by email , with the supporting documents requested, to the SIE center on which it depends. For the Metz SIE, for example, the address is the following: [email protected].

For other Moselle centers (Château-Salins, Forbach, Hayange, Saint-Avold, Sarrebourg, Sarreguemines or Thionville) , all you have to do is replace “Metz” by the name (in lower case) of the town concerned.

The user will then receive a discharge number communicated by the SIE. He must use it to request a registration certificate for his vehicle on the ANTS website (National Agency for Secure Titles).
