Al-Marsad newspaper – agencies: The Jordanian Ministry of Culture announced that actor Daoud Jalajel, one of the most prominent faces of television drama during the past four decades, died Tuesday at the age of 75.
The Minister of Culture, Haifa Al-Najjar, wrote on her account with the Twitter application: “We are saddened by the passing of the friend, artist Daoud Jalajel, who has long been associated in our memory with the brilliance of Jordanian drama and its authentic tales. Although he was gone, he left many luminous spaces in the march of Jordanian and Arab art.”
The former Captain of Artists, Sari Al-Assaad, and a number of Jordanian artists also mourned him via social media, including Shaker Jaber, Jihad Manasra and Diana Karazon, according to “Reuters”.
