Actress’s Daughter Leads Sect After Father’s Departure, Leaving Family in Turmoil
Fairy Tale Star’s Family Tragedy Unveiled
The life of actress Milena Dvorská, beloved for her role as Maruška in a classic fairy tale, contrasts sharply with a private world of sorrow. Her daughter, Lucie, became involved with a controversial sect and now leads it following her husband’s abandonment, resulting in separation and heartache.
Despite her television fame, Milena Dvorská faced deep personal anguish. Her daughter, Lucie, not only joined a contentious Czech Republic sect, but ultimately took over its leadership. This occurred after the departure of her husband, the self-proclaimed Messiah Jan Dvorský, also known as Parsifal Imanuel.
A former sect member, Kristýna Arbesová, shared, “Parsifal has another partner today and is devoted to herbs on the Internet.”
She tried to persuade the court to publicly declare the lack of a savior. “I asked him to write the remaining people in his community that he was not the Messiah. That they need to hear it from him to get rid of the fear of becoming traitors.”
According to Arbesová, Lucie continues to maintain the group, assuring them the spiritual leader’s exit is just a temporary challenge. Members continue to send money.
A Messiah’s Rise and Family’s Fall
It all started when, at age 19, Jan Dvorský, a screenwriting student, discovered a book, *The Grail Message*, and was inspired. He became Parsifal Imanuel, proclaiming himself the savior of humanity. At the time, Lucie Dvorská, the actress’s daughter, also chose him.
The pair developed an ideology promising a millennial empire. They sold their property to finance their book, written by the son of man. With Lucie, known as the “Swan Virgin,” they gathered followers who abandoned their families, possessions, and jobs.
A Grandmother’s Final Embrace
Lucie and Jan raised eight children in isolation. They did not attend school or interact with society. Authorities eventually took notice, leading the couple to flee abroad. They settled in Belgium, hiding from the law.
However, one of the children, Milena Dvorská’s granddaughter, Julie, chose a different path. She left the family and returned to the Czech Republic. She wished to reconnect with her grandmother, and she did so at the last moment. Actress Jaroslava Adamová recalled, “Julie managed to do so. The day after she and her grandmother, Milena died. She had a lot of heart!”
Adamová shared in 2009, “No one understood it, it was healthy.”
Milena Dvorská struggled with her daughter’s fate. The last time she spoke with Lucie was in 1991. The actress had a difficult relationship with Lucie. Milena found support in her second marriage to actor Josef Kraus, with whom she had a son, Jakub. He gave her two granddaughters and somewhat healed family wounds. The number of people involved in cults worldwide is estimated to be around 10 million (Source 2024).
A Glimmer of Hope
Milena Dvorská’s story highlights the thin line between fame and suffering. Her granddaughter, Julie, now lives a life far removed from sects, manipulation, and isolation. The famous actress found peace near the end of her life, when she could embrace her granddaughter one last time, leaving her the most important thing: love.
