The cycle ‘Music at Christmas’ starts this Tuesday with Encarni Navarro’s Zambomba Malagueña

The cycle also has the objective of collaborating in the reactivation of commerce and hospitality

Encarni Navarro’s Zambomba Malagueña inaugurates this Tuesday afternoon the cycle ‘Music at Christmas’ offered by the Malaga City Council Party Area, with a program of six free concerts in different churches of the city.

In addition, this year a children’s theater proposal is incorporated that will take place in the Patio de la Aduana. The program, as they have explained from the Town Hall in a note, will count for the concerts with the sponsorship of San Miguel, thus collaborating in the economic reactivation of the commerce and hospitality of the city center.

All programming has been adapted to the hygienic-sanitary measures established by the COVID-19 pandemic. Free tickets for the shows that are still available can be obtained on the platform www.woutick.es at the event: ‘Zambomba San Miguel’ for the concerts in the churches and on the web https://www.malagaentradas.com/ for customs shows. There will be a limitation of two tickets per person and the possibility of contributing a kilo of food per person upon arrival at the shows is offered, to be allocated to social entities.

For this edition, the Festival Area has had local artists, thus contributing to promote the artistic and cultural fabric of the city. Flamenco zambobas and two concerts by the Málaga Musical Foundation make up the musical offer of this cycle ‘Music at Christmas’, which will take place between December 15 and January 4.

The zambombas will be run by Encarni Navarro, Las Hermanas Alarcón, Alejandro Estrada, Enaguas and the trio formed by Eduardo Bandera, El Morta and Bonela Jr. These musical shows will be in different churches – Santiago, San Juan, Santo Domingo and the Esplanade of the Sanctuary of Victory – except for the last one that will be in the Patio de la Aduana.

This location will be the setting for four sessions of children’s shows in which there will be puppets, musicals, theater and a zambomba, between December 17 and 20, with performances by Peneque el Valiente, Hansel y Gretel, Gloria y el group formed by Eduardo Bandera, El Morta and Bonela Jr. COLLABORATION WITH SAN MIGUEL

Cervezas San Miguel joins the cultural activities promoted by the Malaga City Council, collaborating and incorporating the best technology to enjoy Christmas music. In this way, the beer brand, in the hands of the Malaga Hoteliers Association (Mahos) will have a special promotion for those attending these Christmas concerts.

A redemption ticket will be offered to download together with the tickets for the musical event, which will allow consumers to enjoy the second drink of Magna de San Miguel at no cost at any of the venues adhering to the promotion, among which are: Te Piko, Taberna de Álvaro, Lepanto, Pepa and Pepe, Morrissey’s, Chester, Vuala, D’Platos, Casa Lola, Strachan and Pz Uncibay, El Jardín, Café La Abuela, La Salita, Las Merchanas, Le Grand Café Centro, Casa Amigos , Mentidero, Taberna Mitjana, La Tasca, La Tomasa.

In addition, these points of sale will have a streaming broadcast of the zambombas of the Christmas program so that all the locals who are consuming in the different restaurants can enjoy the concerts.
