“Prague will be red at the traffic lights. We have agreed with the hygienists that we will introduce distance teaching in all Prague high schools and universities within the next week. Unfortunately, when I suggested it at the beginning of the week, there was no agreement on that,” Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates).
Subsequently, however, he specified that secondary schools will not introduce distance learning yet. It is still not clear when Prague will be marked in red at the so-called traffic light.

The red color indicates the highest level of alert – increasing or persistent community transmission in the Czech Republic. It is the main parameter for marking the region in red, other less significant are the daily increase in the last seven days over 25 per 100 thousand inhabitants.
In the last week, Prague had an average of 247 new cases per day per 1.3 million inhabitants.

Another parameter for inclusion in the red grade is the more than 50% increase in patients over 65 years of age in the last seven days compared to the previous week. However, Prague Hygiene does not publish such data on the web.
The regions across the country, with the exception of the Silesians, have recently moved to the green level of alertness, which indicates the occurrence of the disease without community transmission.

Because of the deteriorating situation from 10 September, the obligation to wear veils throughout the Czech Republic applies in all indoor areas. The obligation to wear veils will also apply in companies. Employees working in one place, such as an office, at least two meters apart from other people do not need to have it.
The E15.cz interactive infographics uses, among other things, a breakdown by postal code – due to a possible situation where, as is rare abroad, a mandatory quarantine would arise for individual municipalities with extended powers or districts.
