The country ‘fans’ money because of Coal cs, this is the proof

The mining sector this year has contributed greatly to state revenues. Until May 2022, the mining sector has made a large contribution through taxes and non-tax revenues.

In the taxation sector, revenue growth from the mining sector reached around 296.3%. Mining managed to contribute around 10.1% of total tax revenue until May 2022.

“Commodity prices have increased, so from taxes the mining sector has increased by almost 300% itself, the growth is the extreme opposite when last year’s contraction,” Sri Mulyani said in a press conference on our State Budget, Thursday (23/6/2022).

“This means that this sector is starting to become a profit windfall and it is starting to be seen in the revenues we recorded,” he said.

Meanwhile, tax revenues until May reached Rp 705.82 trillion or 55.8% of the target in the APBN.

In the post of non-tax revenues, the mining sector, both oil and gas and non-oil and gas, also contributes greatly to increase the coffers of state revenue. Until May alone, PNBP receipts reached Rp 224.1 trillion or reached 66.8% of the target in the APBN.

For PNPB SDA oil and gas, the number of revenues managed to grow by 98% from the previous year. In total, the state’s oil and gas sector received non-tax revenues of Rp 62.9 trillion.

“If we look at our lifting, it actually goes down. So, this lifting is going down but the high price is an increase in revenue for us,” said Sri Mulyani.

In the non-oil and gas sector, mineral and coal SDA PNBP also contributes greatly to state revenues. Its revenue growth was recorded at 105.3% from last year. As of May, the mineral and coal sector contributed Rp 29 trillion to non-tax revenues.

“All growth was also high at 105.3% because the price of mineral and coal has increased. The increase was high,” said Sri Mulyani.

For information, the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) again recorded a surplus in May 2022. The amount is IDR 132.2 trillion or 0.74% of gross domestic product (GDP).

This APBN surplus means that income is greater than the total government expenditure. State revenues reached Rp. 1,070.4 trillion (58% of the initial APBN target) or grew by 47.3%, while state expenditures reached Rp. 938.2 trillion (34.6% of the APBN target) or grew 0.8%.
